In Kenya, we have worrying statistics of families broken up by domestic violence. The most worrying part of this trend is that, most victims that find themselves in this situation either think that this kind of violence is justified in the household, or do not know where to turn to for help.

DV is a mobile application that attempts to solve this in the following ways 1. Allow users to send out distress messages to close family members or friends who can quickly come to aid. 2. Allow the users find close Support Groups for people facing domestic violence issues. 3. Provide users with quick access to professional help they might need in domestic violence situations e.g Police, Lawyers and Doctors.

Targeted users of this application are victims of domestic violence, including both women and men.

Key features include the ability to instantly send out distress alerts in the form of text messages to pre_defined numbers.
